back home again

If you're new here, welcome. I'm new too. It has been one year since I last posted and before that it had been a year. You could say I'm not good at this and you would be accurate. It is hard to organize thoughts into words into a coherent and engaging paragraph or two. This past year has been challenging and I haven't found enough brainpower to be very creative let alone write about it. But, circumstances have brought me back to a home that I love. A home that is full of happy memories and my design work that, after 5 years, needs a little refreshing.  I'm not going to make any promises about the frequency of my posts, but I'm excited to be feeling like being creative again. 

I refinished the laundry room first. You can check out my post about the last time I redesigned this room. It was a perfectly lovely place but it needed to be repainted anyway so I thought it would be fun to do something different and make it fun and happy. This room is small and hard to take pictures of, but luckily my cat model was available to make everything look good. Also, do your over 40 yr. old self a favor and put your laundry machines on a pedestal.
