Come Sail Away

Fourteen years ago I became a parent. That was the last time I got anything first. My current bathroom has a shower that leaks and no floors. Did I work on my bathroom first? Of course not. Do the kids care that their bathroom is remodeled? No. Are they even going to notice? Not likely. Will they do their bests to keep it clean and looking nice? Ha. Will I continue to spend time and energy making their living spaces beautiful despite the ungrateful little punks? 100% 

It used to look like this. So, it was clearly worth the effort whether the kids give a hoot or not.
