stairway to heaven- the reprise
I updated the stairs in my last house and wrote a stirring rendition of the Led Zeppelin hit to document the experience. You can enjoy it here. I took the opportunity to add a few more verses when I updated the stairs in my current house. Be ready to be entertained.

That same lady of old,
Bought a new house to mold.
She has one more old staircase to better.
The rails were honey oak,
Bad feelings they stoked,
And new ones were way out of her budget.
Ooooh, So she's making the staircase look better.
The treads were all wrong,
All the style was gone.
So she ordered new rugs and paint samples.
With molding, treads and dark paint,
The stairs went from sinner to saint,
They're no longer the eye sore they once were.
Ooooh, she made staircase way better.
Ooooh, she made the old staircase way better.
Walls were built up above,
With more privacy to love,
The noise from the kids is slightly muffled.
Now that the stairs are complete,
The inside remodeling's achieved.
I guess it's time that she starts on the outside.
Ooooh, the staircase makes everything better.
Ooooh, the whole thing is really way better.
